Wonshondro Lyngdoh Buam
Wonshondro Lyngdoh Buam started painting at a very early age. He had done an innumerable number of paintings in the past and most of them were landscapes. But his most recent paintings include the “Lest we forget the 911 event*” which has been with Osian’s Mumbai and the “Khasi Mythology of human genesis**” which was exhibited in many places in England and currently is in Henry Boxer Gallery, Richmond (England). He was recognized as the prominent artist of the State of Meghalaya and for that he had been the member of the North East Zone Cultural Center (Government of India) for one term. Retired in 2018 as Officer on Special Duty, Government of Meghalaya in the field of ICT.
