Device of perception
Dipalee Daroz works out of her Delhi studio practicing and researching within the ceramic medium. A mongst her large group shoe repertoire she had been part of shows such as ‘Breaking ground’ 1st Indian ceramics Triennale, Jaipur, inaugural show at Bihar Museum, ‘Mutable’ held at the Primal Museum of art in Mumbai, ‘Luminous’ and ‘Transition / Tradition’ ceramic show at Gallery Nvya (Delhi), Digging Time exhibited at Gallery Art Positive Delhi. She has also had several solo shows in New Delhi at Alliance Francaise, Art Alive Gallery and Gallery Nvya, as well as Pundole art gallery in Mumbai. Dipalee is recipient of national scholarship, junior fellowship from ministry of culture (HRD) and crafts museum grant to study traditional Indian Black pottery of Azamgarh. She received the Charles Wallace award to study in the UK. Dipalee has been artist in resident Jingdezhen, China in 2008 and participated at the International Artists Symposium at Siwan, Bihar in 2018.
