Bansi Dholakiya is a Baroda based artist, pursued her Post Diploma in printmaking from faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Vadodara, Gujarat and completed her diploma in painting from CN collage of Fine arts from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.Inspired by her surrounding Bansi’s work depicts the rural area and countryside view. Through her large landscapes, she tries to formulate – a dialogue between nature and mankind.
The vastness of the space and nature represent isolation and detachment in her work of art, showcasing domestic animals like cow, sheep and goat as a metaphor in my works.
