Sujith S N was born in 1980 in Baroda. He completed his BFA from College of Fine Arts, Trissur, in 2005 and his MFA from S N School, University of Hyderabad in 2007. He is the recipient of the prestigious FICA Emerging Artist Award & Longlisted for Skoda prize, both in 2011.
‘The City and the Tower’ was his first solo at Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai in 2008, followed by ‘Map is not the Territory’ at Lattitude 28, 2010; ‘Psalms of silence and dark’, at HSLU Luzern, Switzerland, 2012; ‘Psalms of an (In)visibile River, Vadehra Art Gallery, Delhi, 2013, & ‘Stains of Stimuli’, Forum Art Gallery, Chennai (in association with Art Chennai), 2014.
