Anjaneyulu G

Born in 1976, Anjaneyulu studied at the JNTU College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad. After graduating from JNTU, he put forward his works through many shows participating in several major exhibitions across India. Last year, Anjaneyulu was represented by Kalakriti at the gallery booth at the India Art Fair 2012, New Delhi.

Anjaneyulu is a very diligent artist. He produces exquisite still life images and genre objects that demonstrate harmony of order, colour and pleasure in relationships. His very detailed skilful works, often executed singularly, renders brilliantly on the canvas. The objects are often placed against a flat wall with a sharp shadow that adjoins it, producing some very expressive paintings. One can see his loving observation of light and handling of paint. The surfaces and textures of the still lives are so believable that one would want to touch them. Subject and style reflects his skill of craftsmanship. Anjaneyulu’s works have a hyper realistic finish with a surreal touch.
